This training covers all of the most popular lip permanent make up treatments – lip liner, lip blush, sheer lips and full lip colour.
Step 1. Contact us for an initial chat to run through any information you need. We will send you our booking terms and conditions and you can choose which payment route you would like – full payment, deposit and then remainder one month prior or split payment plan via go cardless.
Step 2. One month prior to your in person training days you will be given access to the online learning portal and your training kit will be sent out. This is a very intense course and we expect you to spend a significant amount of time practicing before you attend the academy. You will be provided latex and guidance via the online learning portal on how to best pick up permanent make up techniques. during this period you will be added to an online learning group so that we can assess the practice you are producing and offer support and feedback.
Step 3. You will attend for your in person training days where you will watch demos and carry out your own treatments on models.
Step 4. After leaving the academy you will be required to submit 4 case studies that are of the required standard (3 x full lip colour and one lip liner)
Step 5. Once your case studies are up to the required standard you will be invited into the academy to complete your final assessment which will consist of you carrying out a lip blush treatment.
After this training you can go on to complete brows training, eyeliner after 3 months (confidence permitting) and also work towards your VTCT Level 4 conversion if you choose.
Additional costs to be aware of:
*All permanent make up artists are required to hold insurance – we can offer a discount for our students with our accreditation company.
*The online portal unit on health and safety contains a link to an external training provider to complete tattoo infection control training. This is at an additional cost of approx £25 plus vat and compulsory for all tattoo artists, permanent make up artists and microblading technicians.
*Please note, if you have already completed brow training you will not need to pay for this external training again as we will have a record that you have completed it prior.

For lips training we would recommend that if you are a complete beginner without any equipment you purchase your kit directly with us to ensure that you have everything you need and that you machine/needles are of a high quality.
For students already trained in brows you will have most of the items that you need but have the option to add on a mini kit which will include extra pigments, aftercare items and mapping products.

Yes! All graduates receive access to our private online community where you can seek advice, share work for feedback, and continue learning. Our instructors remain available for questions, and we offer regular advanced workshops to expand your skills.
The lips are more sensitive than other facial areas, so client comfort is a priority. We teach advanced numbing protocols to minimise discomfort. Most clients rate the procedure between 4-7 on a 10-point discomfort scale. We cover all aspects of pain management, including pre-numbing, secondary numbing, and distraction techniques.
